Pet care experience
*I am allergic to cats* I grew up with a beagle/black lab mix, and a bearded collie. I learned dogs are so precious and so good to humans! I got my own personal dog, bichon frise/shih tzu mix, thru a rescue in 2009 and had 13 amazing years with him, road tripping, outings, and everyone who met him, loved him. In the later years, he had health problems, requiring eye drops and medication multiple times per day. I put him down in June 2022 and I'm not in a spot to have another dog full time, so I thought this would be a good way to fill my void. I have lived with people who've had labs, pit mixes and Yorkies. I love playing with a dog, taking them for walks, and just hanging out. They relieve my stress so it's a mutually beneficial relationship! I hope you would not mind if I treated your dog as my own, talking to them and telling them I love them!

Becky is a Doggy sitter SuperStar! She is extremely attentive to my fur babies. She keeps me regularly updated with pics and videos which makes me feel so secure when I am away. We just absolutely love Becky!!! She has a sincere love for pets, I am so thankful we found a responsible and friendly as Becky!
Rebecca's time with our pups was amazing! She kept us posted the whole time we were away and our two doggos were happier than ever with her. Would recommend to anyone looking for a great Dog sitter. Such a sweetheart and so kind ?

I live on the 3rd floor in an apartment complex. There are hardwood floors. I would love to have your dog curled up on my couch or bed if thats something you allow (don't want to send mixed signals if it's not.) If you crate your dog, that would need to be provided. When I have sat or walked for others, a meet & greet is required to learn where all the stuff needed for care is in the house. I am more than happy to hang out with your dog in your house, or have them come to mine.

If your dog is not friendly with other people or dogs, or requires special medication, food, etc. We'll discuss these at the meet & greet! I am also willing to go the extra mile for things they LOVE, to make their stay better.
A typical day
Dogs should be kept as active as possible in order to maintain their health and sanity. I like to walk at least a mile depending on the size of the dog, and may do that a couple times per day, in addition to shorter potty breaks. If your dog is good with other dogs,or riding in a car, we could go to a dog park or beach, or get a puppuccino at Starbucks!

Availability
I work full time but generally have the ability to come & go as I please. I can do a morning walk, on Mondays & Fridays depending how close the client is, a lunch time potty break, a walk after work or at bedtime. Dogs are "just" a part of our lives, but to them, we are their whole life. The commitment to care, feeding, walking and love is not one to take lightly. The client would be factored into my schedule before anything else (gym, social life).
