I worked in the maintenance (animal care) department of a pet store as a teenager, as a dog handler for a doggy daycare, and professionally trained several dogs in my neighborhood. I have also house-sat for a friend, caring for their 3 large dogs and 2 elderly special-needs cats. This included visits to the vet, dosing medication, separated feeding with a food-aggressive dog, and daily walks. The average period I spend sitting for this family lasts between 3 days and 2 weeks. By the end of the year I hope to begin training psychological companion service dogs for those with PTSD, panic disorders, autism and other spectrum disorders, and eventually I might branch into physical assitance dogs. I have training in advanced dog training, moderate grooming, oral medications, injected medications, canine and feline CPR, and diffusal of dangerous situations. (dog fights, dog-to-human aggression, etc) Your dog can't find a safer dog sitter!
