Pet care experience
Looooove animals, especially cats. Grew up surrounded by them at my grandma’s little farm, then when my mom and I lived in the city. Didn’t matter where; we always had pets. Recently moved to Oakland to be near my sister, and now working as a personal assistant to one family. Worked as a hotel trainer for many years and this is the first time I have some extra time. And I thought to myself, what better way to have fun with the extra hours than to meet the pets in Oakland! I am experienced in taking care of cats and dogs, from feeding to grooming to playtime and walks as well as giving pills and trimming nails.

Becky cared for our 2-year old Calico cat during a weeklong trip and did a wonderful job! She was timely, diligent, and communicative. It is clear she has a love for animals. Our cat took to her very quickly and expressed lots of affection and purring. Becky sent thorough updates during each visit which = gave us peace of mind while traveling. I would be delighted to work with Becky again.

Becky went above and beyond in taking care of our cats. She was incredibly communicative, quickly responded to our cats' many antics, and was attentive to every detail of their care. Because of her great sense of humor, we were excited every time a new Rover card was posted, where her love and care for our cats was apparent. It can be hard to leave your pets with a stranger, but we felt completely at ease knowing that Becky was taking care of them. We would recommend her to all pet parents looking for a reliable and conscientious sitter.

I make them feel special and loved during drop-in visits. Lots of pets and scritches and if allowed, belly rubs and brushing. Maybe a treat or two, some play time. I typically follow the pet parents instructions on feeding, grooming, etc. And making sure their fur baby is well.

Would love to meet prior to taking care of your pet so we all get to know each other, and you can tell me what your pet likes or dislikes, any special care or feeding instructions, any information that will make it as easy as possible for your pet to feel comfortable while you are away.
A typical day
With cats, lots of pets, lots of scritches. If allowed, lots of brushing and belly rubs. Love to play with them using their own toys. I also bring my favorite ones. Maybe a treat or two. With dogs, all the above, plus throwing balls and toys and definitely more energetic. I usually take them for a walk around the neighborhood, give them a good rub once we’re back, lotsa water too.

I can do drop-in visits with your furbabies or walk your doggies anytime before 9am or after 330pm on weekdays, and any time at all on weekends.
