Pet care experience
I am fully bonded & insured through Pet Sitter Associates, Inc., and am a full time pet sitter. I am Pet CPR/First Aid Certified by Pet Tech. References available upon request from many happy clients. Experienced with "aggressive" breed dogs, cats, birds, small reptiles, rabbits, turtles and fish. I also offer pet taxi service to/from the vet, play dates, etc. I will treat your pets as if they were my own while they are in my care. I am very aware that it is difficult to have a stranger stay in your home. My pledge to you is that you will never know that I was there! When I depart your home the bedding will be washed, the bathroom that I have used will be cleaned, all of the floors swept and the garbage taken out. I pride myself in leaving your home in perfect condition for your return. As you will see in several of my reviews/testimonials I do actually do what I say I'm going to do and leave your home in perfect condition! Why I love dog sitting For as long as I can remember I have had a true love for all things living. As early as 5 years old I was rescuing turtles from the road to our family home on Chesapeake Bay and stopping at a fence line where I could feed the deer carrots and they would eat out of my hand! I have had dogs, cats, birds, ducks, bunnies and fish my entire life.......and yes, turtles too lol! I have had various breeds of dogs from large German Shepards to small pugs (who seem to think they are really BIG dogs) :) My experience administering medication Yes. I have several regular clients with special needs pups that I administer meds to.

I had a situation where we had moved here from PA to Florida and had to go back to PA for a wedding after being here only 6 weeks. I decided I would look for someone that could stay over night with my dog Lilly and my cat Jack rather than board them, because I thought it would be to stressful for them. I found Becky on Rover and after our meet and greet I decided she would be great for my pets. Lilly greeted Becky with caution at first but soon after was laying on the floor waiting for a belly rub. My cat Jack would not come out to see Becky because he is still a little nervous since the move. After we left it took Jack about 3 hours to come out of his hiding spot but he warmed up to Becky right away (of course he wanted his belly rubbed....hahaha) While we were away Becky would send daily text messages along with a picture of my pets to help re-assure me. When we returned home you would never know anyone was here (Becky vacuumed, cleaned the litter and even washed the bed linens and put them back on the bed!) When Becky came back today to return our keys Lilly greeted her with a high pitch bark, she was so happy to see her! If I need to have someone watch my pets again, it would have to be Becky! Thanks again Becky you made my trip more enjoyable because I did not have to worry about my pets.I knew they were in good hands! Deb H.
I TRUST NO ONE ELSE WITH MY ANIMALS AND HOME, and that is why I book Becky over a year in advance. My puppies are well taken care of and they LOVE HER! I come home from vacation and it is as if there was no one here the whole time (that is the respect and care she takes of your household) but in reality there were 4 dogs and Becky. Plus, my dogs act as if I never left which is so important to me. They receive the same care and lovings that I give to mine 24/7 so it is as if they did not skip a beat while Mom was gone. They just had their substitute Mom while I was gone and she makes all the difference in the world :) Thank you BECKY!
Becky took care of my two dogs while I was away recently. She was very responsible and respectful of my home and took excellent care of my boys! I think you will be very happy with her services.
While I've had a day sitter here in Plant City for many years, I have struggled with a reliable overnight person. I can kennel my 7-year-old 75-pound weimaraner and cats nearby (and have done so), but prefer not to for their sanity and my convenience. I learned of Becky through my day sitter from whom Becky had taken a pet first aid/cpr course. What a great experience! At our meet-and-greet, my weim warmed up immediately and was ready for a belly-rub by the end of the visit. Becky said that "you'll never know I was here" and she's right, except for calm, happy demeanor of the animals who didn't even seem to miss us! The kitten and 2 older cats came out soon after she arrived for the first home-stay and at the second were as happy to see her as the weim. We do not have a fenced yard, and Becky ensures the weim gets the appropriate exercise and attention required for the breed. I'm planning ahead to ensure Becky is available for our next travel period.

I have no breed preference at all. I have plenty of experience with "aggressive" breed dogs; which for the record are NOT aggressive! As for what I like to know prior to sitting a pet, I perform a complete snout to tail evaluation of each pup during my meet & greet. This allows me to evaluate temperament, personality, overall structural health and more importantly allows you, the client, to see how your pup interacts with me. During this time we will also discuss what special needs your pet(s) may have, diet, treat allowances, walk/potty relief habits, favorite toys, sleepy time spots, etc. all of these things are extremely important to know for your pets comfort, health, and overall well being in your absence.
A typical day
Time I'll spend with your dog This will be discussed on a per booking basis. The time spent will be agreed upon during the Meet & Greet process. Extra house-sitting services Yes provided there is a specific list as to what needs done. By this I mean watering instructions for plants......I have a bit of a black thumb lol. I will bring mail in and place in a specific location, take the trash out as well as scoop the poop.
