Pet care experience
I am very dependable and organized when it comes to any responsibility, including your pets! I have had dogs and other pets in my family since I was 5 years old. Along with dogs, I’ve owned and cared for cats, rats, snakes, hermit crabs, fish, bunnies and turtles. I have helped with the care of my family dogs and owned smaller pets of my own since I was young. Animals have always been a part of my life and I want to continue having them in my life while I’m in undergraduate and not currently owning one myself. The second dog my family adopted was very nervous and afraid of people. I helped make her comfortable enough through care and training to be able to be around lots of people and go on walks without barking. For the past two summers I have dog sat for a family in my hometown, taking care of their Rhodesian Ridgeback for 10 days. I would wake up early to take him on long hikes and always give him an afternoon walk as well. I loved spending time with that pup and made sure he had everything he needed while under my watch. I love animals and would love to provide care for yours!

I live in a spacious house with a few housemates who are all dog lovers. We have a small front yard that is not fenced but is good for a quick potty break. There are at least 4 small parks along my street that I would take the pup to be able to run around and play fetch. I often go on runs and if the pup is up for it I would definitely take them along. I also live across from the beach so if they are a water lover pup I would be glad to take them for a swim. At the end of my street is a nice long trail and open space that is perfect for daily walks.

No breed preferences, I love all dogs big or small! I would like to know if your pup has any medical conditions, dietary restrictions, or other important health information so that I can provide the best care possible.
A typical day
I’ll take your pup on nice long walks or runs down the Sands Beach trail and open space on top of the bluffs along the beach. If your pup enjoys the water I will walk and play with them on the beach and in the ocean. I will also take them for fetch or playtime in the grassy parks along my street. When the pup is tired we will lay on the couch or sit on the patio and relax. They will also get plenty of belly rubs and attention from my dog loving housemates.

I’m currently working as an assistant manager at the drive in movie theatre. I work 4 nights a week starting around 7pm. So I have my days totally free and some nights available as well.
