Pet care experience
When I was in high school, I used to pet sit for anyone that needed assistance with their pets. I worked on a farm for four years during which time I took care of the horses, chickens, dogs, and cats. I worked at a pet store for a year and a half in college during which time I gained experience with reptiles, birds, and fish. I’ve been a single pet parent for five years to two cats and for the last year, a puppy as well. Whenever friends ask me to care for their pets, I take care of them like I’m taking care of my own pets. I have a huge passion for animals, they make the world a better place.

We have started having Beck visit and take for walks our two pups. Beck is knowledgeable and reliable and patient with our young (needs more training) dog. We will continue to have her walk our pups!

Beck is wonderful She has experience caring for a wide range of pets. From cats & dogs to hens & horses. Multiple small animals including fish, rats, rabbits & gerbils. She has a naturally caring way towards all animals. She worked in a small local pet store as an assistant manager, where her duties included looking after reptiles, fish & birds as well as small animals. Beck is also very trustworthy and conscientious. I would not hesitate to have her pet sit.

I monitor my puppy at all times unless she is crated, I will be able to crate your dog if you wish, food is the greatest motivator of all. I understand pets having specific diets and I will maintain their regular feeding schedule while they are in my care. I love spending time just talking to my pets, so if that is something you want me to do with yours, I will gladly do it, I love making fur friends.

A typical day
I love to take dogs on walks that they can spend time sniffing everything! I also love playing fetch and hide and seek with dogs that are interested in that. My favorite place to walk during the day is Forest Hill Park, but I’ve been exploring all of the parks around Richmond recently! I am great at interacting with cats, they’re all unique and I love getting to know their personalities and figuring out what they like!

Availability
I work full-time in a remote position, so I am home from 8 AM to 4:30 PM in Henrico Virginia Monday through Friday. I am available on lunch breaks and after work hours during the week and anytime on the weekends as long as I don’t have the weekend blocked off.
