Pet care experience
I have been on Rover for over a year, and have looked after 5 dogs so far, for full day care, lunchtime walks or overnight boarding. I enjoy being in the company of dogs and am happy to cater to their needs to ensure their comfort with me. I take time to get to know your dog and ensure we have fun together. In terms of my own pets, I own a westie in my family home, he is 6 years old. He does not live with me in London so your dog would be the only pet in my house. I love to play with dogs and I know how to care for them.

Becci looked after our dog for just over a day at her place and he loved it. She kept us up to date with pictures and even a video showing him having a café trip. We'd definitely recommend Becci to anyone who needs their dog looking after, she really cares and your dog will have a wonderful time.
Becci has been taking our miniature poodle out for lunchtime walks and we couldn't have wished for a better person. She is so sweet and kind to our fluffy family member and he definitely looks forward to her visits. She has also been feeding him and it's always an empty bowl when we get home. Highly recommended.

I cannot thank Becci enough for taking care of Chance for the day. This was his first time with a sitter and he can be anxious in new environments, Becci was patient and committed and was able to settle Chance. I trust that Chance had a fun day because he slept all evening!

There is lots of green space around my house near the Common. Pets are allowed in every room and on furniture. I can take them for regular toilet trips at any time and of course a substantial walk. We will play together with any toys they bring and I can feed them where required.

It’s useful to know how your dog is on the lead, and whether they are friendly with other dogs whilst on walks. Also whether they have any requirements like medication or food. It’s also good to know if there’s any bad habits they may have in the house - eg. Toilet accidents, barking at windows or the doorbell, not eating food.
A typical day
We will walk through the Common or Brockwell park around the ponds and over the green spaces. I will take them for as long/short walk as they need but I’d normally aim for at least 1-1.5 hours if the dog can do so. I would like to play fetch with balls or sticks, short runs or just playing together. If your dog is happy to play with other dogs, there are some local dog parks where I can facilitate this.

Availability
I currently work from home so taking care of a pet would fit nicely into my schedule and I would enjoy the company. Lunch time walks would be a great addition to my day. On weekends, I have unlimited time to give to your dog.
