Pet care experience
New to Fort Collins, but no stranger to fur babies! I've been dog sitting and cat sitting for friends since my college days back in '05 and my husband and I have both been caring for pets since our childhood days. We adopted a bonded pair of senior cats - Smokey and Bandit - when we first got married and had the joy of loving on them for almost 10 years. Currently, our pack consists of the two of us, our scrappy terrier, Scrimshaw and our loveable, loudmouth heeler, Vinita. Our dogs can attest - Our half-acre backyard is the perfect place for zoomies or fetch or just napping in the CO sun. We're a short walk from the Foothills Trail at Horsetooth Reservoir and a short drive to lots of different Natural Areas around town. I love that dogs make us active. Daily walks, outdoor adventures, engaging playtime - There are so may different way to engage with your pup and ensure they have a fun-filled day!

Becci was terrific for dog boarding. She offered a meet and greet with her dogs beforehand, which was very helpful prior to booking. During my dogs's stay with Becci, she sent multiple updates and photos of him at home and on walks/hikes. As my first time boarding my dog, it was so reassuring to have him in such good care. I highly recommend Becci and plan on rebooking next time.
My girl, Eleanor, has a bit of separation anxiety: we adopted her in July of 2020 from a rescue shelter in the four corners area. She and I have been inseparable during Covid times...so I guess I have a little separation anxiety as well! Becci was wonderful: she knows exactly how to make a dog feel at home, and entertained. I received updates and photos throughout the day. She eased both of our anxieties, and we’ll be signing up for more of Becci’s services!
Fantastic experience! Becci was very understanding and accommodating of special needs for my pup, and she made sure I felt comfortable with everything before dropping him off for the week. Got lots of photos and updates during the stay, he had a great time!
Becci was a fantastic host for my dog! She made sure to give him plenty of exercise and he got along well with her dogs. Thanks for taking great care of him while I was gone!

We have a fenced in yard that is great for playing, squirrel watching, and soaking up the sun. Either my husband or I are around a majority of the day to let your pup out for frequent potty breaks and we are big fans of daily walks - both around the neighborhood or at the natural areas around town. We do ask that you bring along a crate for your pup (we do have an extra). If we need to be out of the house to run errands we want to make sure your pup stays safe and out of trouble!

All breeds are welcome, but I would prefer to have your dog over for a backyard meet and greet with our two dogs before booking a daycare or boarding spot. Introductions help to ensure all parties are comfortable and give our dogs a chance to get to know each other. You'll also get to check out where your pup will be staying. You can let me know of any of your pet's favorite activities and I'll be sure to incorporate that into our time together.
A typical day
If your pup is at our place: I've got several different go-to walking routes in our neighborhood ranging from 1mile - 3miles. We are a short drive to Spring Canyon Park to hop on the walking trail, do some adventure-walking on the ridge, or socialize with new friends at the dog park. It's a short walk from our place to the start of the Foothills Trail - a 4mile hike up to the top of the "A" on the eastern side of Horsetooth Reservoir. We also like to frequent the Poudre Trail and the footpath loops at Red Fox Meadows Natural Area. If your dog is less adventurous, we've got lots of warm, cozy places to snuggle up or nap the day away, and we also have a large, half-acre backyard that is fully fenced for outdoor playtime to burn off all of that endless, puppy dog energy! We can also take time to work on any commands or training you've been working on. Our two dogs love to make time for Tricks for Treats breaks. Availability
I'm currently in nursing school (graduating in December - woot!) and working one shift a week at the hospital. My husband works from home, so if I'm in class or at work he's around to make sure your pup gets catered to!
