Pet care experience
I have lived with pets for as long as I can remember and cared for every animal from chickens and rabbits to cats and dogs! I am particularly good with dogs, mice and cats of any age! I am patient, adaptable, and committed to caring for your pet just the way that you would. Whether you need a walker 1x a week or have a pet on a strict care schedule, I am more than happy to lend a hand (: If you are considering an overnight stay, please keep in mind that I do have a senior cat living in my home, so pets that are friendly toward older kitties are preferred!

Becca is great with all animals, but her work with dogs has always been especially amazing! I've left my corgi with her more than a few times when going on vacation, and he loves her! She always updates me on how he is, when they walk, when he eats, and she sends pictures as well to document. She's my go-to for dog sitting, and I trust her absolutely. I know she's responsible, loves my dog too, and would do anything to make sure he's safe and happy!
Becca is one of the few people I trust around my dog, because she is such a calm and welcoming person. I have a fearful dog myself, and she has been an essential part in helping my dog become more comfortable around new people. She was very calm and relaxed during the first introduction process, which helped my dog work through his fear much faster. After a few minutes, my dog was relaxed and able to lay in his bed without any care that a new person was in the home. Becca makes sure to take my dog's comfort into account before doing anything, and always respects my family's daily routine in order to keep my dog as fear-free as possible. I would trust Becca around my dog any time, and I know she would always ask me about my dog's specific requirements in order to work with him in the best way possible.

I would love to know what a typical day looks like for your little friend. I do my best to keep their schedule as close to yours as possible, as it minimizes their stress while staying with me, and will make the transition back to your home as seamless as possible. Additionally, I'd love to know if they have any food sensitivities, favourite snacks or behavioral tendencies that I could accommodate!
A typical day
I am almost as big of a fan of tug-o-war and fetch as your playful friend! I can accommodate walks up to an hour, 2x a day while in my care. I also have a big park nearby, perfect for exploration and new smells!

I am currently working full-time, but have availability before 9am and after 5:30 pm on weekdays. My weekends are fairly open, so send me a message and let's see if we can find a time that works for us both!
