Pet care experience
I’ve always had a special bond with animals! Dogs and I just “get” each other :) Ever since I can remember, I have been sitting or walking dogs, even when I was in middle school! I currently work from home with my 13 year old baby, Dexter, a Jack Russell / chihuahua mix. He loves to have a friend to play and take naps with! We both will love your dog and treat them as if they’re family ❤️ I’m located in La Mesa, but able to travel/transport if needed. I am able to take care of pets in my own home or yours- whatever you feel most comfortable with! If housesitting, I will stay overnight and during day as much as you would like me to and I can take care of your mail, bringing in packages, and watering plants for free :) You can also find me on Instagram to see some of my dogsitting adventures! @beccaismydogsitter

Becca took such good care of our Bailey! She sent us a photo of Bailey and her dog Dexter on a walk before we even left home on our trip. We were gone only 3 days but got so many photos! And Becca was a pro with Bailey's special kidney care diet, even when we forgot to pack his rice. She was easygoing but confident and reliable. And Bailey loves Dexter. We will certainly be booking another stay with Becca soon!
So glad to found Becca for our senior dog Lucky!! She was so quickly responsive, did a meet and greet with us, sent pics while we were away and lil’ updates too which my kids and I loved. She truly is a natural with dogs and I felt so relieved to have Lucky in her care. Thank you Becca!!
Becca has dog/house sat for us several times while we were out of town for the weekend, and our two schnauzers love her. When she pet sits our pups, she’ll always text pictures of them when she arrives and during her stay. The dogs are always well-fed and fresh water in the bowl when we get home. Becca is also very conscientious, responsible, and dependable; and leaves the house the same as when she arrived - clean and tidy. I’ve also referred Becca to a friend for an overnight dog sitting and got very good feedback from my friend and her chow mix. I'd definitely recommend Becca for pet/house sitting and/or dog walking.
Becca is such a caring and loving individual. I can always trust that my pets are safe with her whenever I go on vacation or want to get away for the weekend. She also always leaves my house clean and tidy! I highly recommend her for any of your petsitting or house sitting needs!

I would like to know anything special about the dog's behavior or tendencies & how they act around new people, other dogs, and on walks. Also please let me know if they try to escape when the front door is open, I will need to communicate this with my 2 brothers that I live with and will be extra careful if so.
A typical day
Walking around the neighborhood to the local park or even the beach or dog park if that’s OK with the owner. And of course lots of cuddles, pets, and love!

Availability
I work 8-4 from home, but take breaks often to walk or hang out with my dog (and yours!) Since I do work full time, I only have the capacity for low to medium energy dogs. However I will consider a high energy dog if the booking falls on a weekend! We will always start and end the day with a walk that’s right for each dog to get their energy out.
