Hi, I'm 26 and am a graduate student at the University of Denver. I am taking the fall and winter quarter off so I have time to watch and take care of your pets! I absolutely love dogs and love looking after dogs! I can also take care of cats, but have less experience, specifically with medicine and things like that. But if you have a calm, low-maintenance cat, I'd love to look after them too! Your dogs can come to my house or I can come to yours. I have a two-level home, with a room dedicated to boarding/personal space. I have a fenced backyard that is just the right size to get some energy out. It is fenced and all outside play is 100% supervised. I am also more than happy to come to your home for drop-in visits or overnight stays. I am very respectful of others' spaces and would help tidy and do basic cleaning alongside watching your dogs. Currently I have a German Shepherd/Great Pyrenees mix. She's a big girl at 100 pounds, but I love every minute of it. She's very sweet to people and other dogs. Her "space" is in the basement so there is no reason to worry about food/water/treat problems. Throughout the years I have owned and lived with chihuahuas, min-pins, labs, shepherds, dobermans, and even pit bulls. So there is literally no limit on what type of dog I can sit. I lived in Durango, CO for my undergrad and dog sat while I lived there. I've volunteered several times at the animal shelter back home in Arkansas, so I have experience taking care of dogs that aren't mine. I am working but have flexibility when it comes to feeding, walking, or just petting your dog(s). I love ALL dogs and would love to sit for you or watch your dog at my home.
