Pet care experience
I’ve taken care of dogs, mostly large dogs, ever since I was little. Although my mom never let us have pets, my aunts and uncles often had me watch their German Shepherds while they were away on vacation. Since then, I was able to adopt a dog of my own, Simba, who is the most adorable husky ever. I’m quite knowledgeable in taking care of larger dogs and can certainly care for smaller breeds as well. I also have a cat myself, Persephone, so I’m available to care for cats as well.

Bea is very considerate, responsive, and a great match for our high energy 2 year old doodle. She communicated about how he did on walks and sent a status after every meeting. I highly recommend her!
Bea is exceptional when taking care of animals - whether they are her own or mine. On several occasions, I needed her to watch over my dog, Buster… and she’s taken him in as her own each time. She makes sure to get walks in and play time, and feeds him accordingly to my instructions. You can tell she has high regard for people’s instructions and for the actual pet. Buster loves her. So do I.
I’m very grateful to have had Bea as my cat, Soju’s, caretaker. She always fed him on time and cleaned the litter regularly. Even as far as going above and beyond and playing with him and letting him go out on tight supervision. Soju has also taken quite a liking to her as his caretaker, and Bea is always the first person to come to mind when I need a pet sitter.
Bea is a great person who is trustworthy and communicates well. I have gone on trips where I had to leave my two cats alone for a few days and asked her to just check on them for me. In addition to checking to make sure they had food and water, Bea went above and beyond and spent time with them, tried to play with them (they’re both very shy), cleaned their litter box, and even sent me videos to show me how they’re doing. I would trust Bea any day to care for my cats.

For my drop-in visits, I’ll obtain a schedule from you so that I can best meet your pet’s needs. I’ll feed them according to your schedule, spend lots of time playing, make sure that they get their potty breaks, and/or if you have a cat, I’ll clean the litter (who wants a stinky litter anyway —NO ONE). All in all, I make sure to stick to your pet’s schedule to ensure that their time away from you is as comfortable as possible.

I would like to know if there are any behavioral information I need to know about, such as aggression towards other dogs or people. Your dog’s general schedule (i.e., feeding times, potty breaks, etc.)
A typical day
If your dog is as energetic as me, we would be playing ball, safely taking a jog around the neighborhood or whatever else your dog likes to do. If your dog is not as energetic, we would take a nice stroll around the area and spend lots of time cuddling on the couch. I usually like to walk to parks, and there’s a great dog park I like to go to in Alameda if your dog is open to that.

I work during the week and free on most weekends. I’ll be available to look after your pet on Mondays, Fridays, and weekends if needed.
