Pet care experience
I'm a retired professional woman (master's degree) with my own home with a fenced yard. I love all animals and have had extensive experience with dogs, cats, horses and some exotic pets. I am very active and enjoy walking with dogs. I have been working (and volunteering at a pet rescue) as a dog walker for several years. I love being around animals and am gentle, compassionate and very careful to meet their needs and keep them happy. I have had extensive experience with dogs and cats and am good at communicating with them. I'm interested in really getting to know some pets (and their owners) and establishing ongoing relationships. My home is pet friendly and comfortable and I will be careful to take care of your home, and, of course, your precious pets.

Barbara watched both of our pets while we were away and was awesome! She has a lovely home and kept us updated with pictures of the dogs enjoying their stay. I would highly recommend her and will use her again for our animals.
I have watched Barbara interact with her own (and other people's) pets for years and know that she loves animals, that she is very careful with them and that she has great animal care skills. Barbara's most recent dog lived to the age of 18 and so she has experience caring for a senior dog with many health issues. She held administrative positions during her professional career and is responsible and honest. I recommend her highly (and leave my pets with her frequently).
Barbara is a caring human and has had pets herself her entire life. She always pet sits for me whenever I have to go out of town. There's no doubt in my mind that she wouldn't give the best care for your pet.

I live near Wild Cat Canyon Park so have hiking opportunities for more active dogs in my neighborhood. I also have a fenced back yard so dogs can safely go outside.
