I've had dogs in my family my whole life and a year ago I got my own pup, Gizmo :) I've been looking after my friends and neighbours dogs for couple of years - either looking after them for a day,housesitting or taking them for walks. I have experience with small and medium-sized dogs.

Barbara took such great care of our dog Sjonnie. She’s very good with dogs and reads them well. Our dog has some anxiety’s and she was so sensitive to him. Barbara is a pro. My fluffball was in excellent care, and everything was clear and easy to organise.
Barbara was great with Toby, she is very calm and we appreciated her being so flexible with drop off/pick up times. It was lovely for Toby to have Gizmo as a play mate for the day too!
Barbara is a true dog lover - she has looked after my dog Howie on multiple occasions and I cannot recommend her services more. Howie absolutely loves spending time with Barbara and her dog Gizmo - the dogs have become very close friends! Barbara is very caring and will bend over backwards to make sure that Howie is happy and cared for. Her dog Gizmo gets along with all dogs, and is playful and friendly. Barbara also regularly keeps in touch with photos as well which is always a bonus!

I have lots of experience in dog walking and dogsitting and am always sure to check with the owner how(and where) they want their dogs to be walked. I usually keep dogs I meet for the first time on long lead in a park until we create a bond to avoid any scary situations. While we're in the park I make sure that your dog is both physically and mentally stimulated - the games I play with them range from frisbee, fetch and finding treats I hide in the grass :) I am aware every pup has their own personality and always try to accommodate what is the best for them. When it comes to looking after dogs in my own home I will never leave them on their own. I have a fenced garden where they can play, they are always supervised in the garden as well.

Let me know if your dog has any special needs and behaviours - e.g. if they are comfortable around other dogs, are they scared of any bikes, skateboards, etc. Please also let me know if your dog has any dietary requirements.
A typical day
When going on walks I always carry ball and a frisbee for a nice game of fetch. Besides that I like to play the "find" game with Gizmo where I hide a ball or scatter kibble/treats in the grass for her to find it. I believe that a mix of both physical and mental exercise is important part of daily walks. All of my walks are in parks where there is plenty of space for running and playing safely. Please bear in mind, during first couple of walks with your dog I will keep them on either short or long lead as I want to make sure I first create a bond with them and they are comfortable around me.

Availability
I work from home full time and can walk your dog locally or do drop in visits. I usually take Gizmo to Beatrixpark or Sarphatipark. Even though we usually go for 1h-1.5h walks twice a day (in the morning and in the afternoon) my schedule is really flexible and can fit your(and your pup's needs) :)
