To begin with, hire Barbara right now. After using dog caregivers in different cities and states, Barbara has trained and cared for my dogs -and some of the more difficult dogs I have had- over many years. She has been the best. What is most important is the peace of mind Barbara provides with her care. My dogs have always been safe and secure in my yard or on a walk with Barbara. I have never had a worry when she cares for my dogs. Barbara uses her extensive dog training, judgment, and safety with my dogs in the community. Especially with my deaf dog who is skittish. My dogs are calm and happy when I arrive home. A sure sign Barbara has again provided loving care and kindness. She leaves a "visit log" with information checked off on the care she provided-such as "feeding" "walking" "playing" with detailed notes. Barbara does a security check of the home, waters plants and gets the mail-all part of her pet service. Another plus is Barbara wants to make sure I have arrived home at the designated time and date. I have been fortunate to know Barb for just over seven years. She is a marvelous trainer who runs a top notch boarding kennel. I have the opportunity to take private lessons and group classes with Barb; her intuitive knowledge of people and their dogs is spot on. She can immediate identify a handler error and accurately read dogs' body language allowing her to identify trainer conflicts easily. Her kennel is clean, warm, and open with dog runs for each guest dog. Barb makes time to care for and play with each dog allowing them ample time to run in the large attached yard outside of his/her run.
