My name is Barbara. I have pet sat for many friends of mine over the last 15 years, but sadly they have either moved or are no longer with us.

Barbara took great care of our dog while we were away. She was easy to communicate with and flexible with our schedule changes. We will definitely ask for her help again in the future!
I called Barbara at the last minute to schedule a stay with her, and she was very kind to receive my dog. She played with him and gave him affection and company. We are very grateful.
Not only is Barbara my in home pet sitter she's also my mother. Whenever my wife and I need to be out of town for a few days we never worry about asking her to watch our dogs. We do have four of them but fortunately we also have a fenced in back yard and we do not need her to walk the dogs.
We have used Barbara to dog sit our dogs for many years and she has provided good service. She loves dogs and is attentive to their needs. Our dog became very comfortable to be left with Barbara which gave us great peace of mind.

I am able to take the dog outside frequently on a leash to do its business and perhaps a short walk. When in my home I spent a lot of time in my chair and like sitting with a dog in my lap to pet. I generally sleep in my chair and would prefer the dog to be crated at night. If I care for a dog in your home I may be able to take up to a medium sized dog and perhaps more than one but only if it is a fenced in yard. I do not feel comfortable walking larger dogs.

A typical day
Because I am older and retired I am not particulary active in my daily routine and would prefer an older less active dog. If I do go out its usually in the morning and I'm home by lunch. I would not probably take a dog with me when I went out.

Availability
I am single and retired and generally spend most of my time at home except for a few church functions during the week and an occasional lunch with friends. I would say at the most I am usually only out of the house for 2 or 3 hours a day.
