I love animals, I am responsible & can bring an animal to vet if needed. I have cared for dogs & cats since 1974, the first job was for my neighbors cocker spaniel. I've house sat for dogs & cats in peoples homes since 1974. I have trained dogs, polo ponies & Thoroughbred horses since 1974. I've cared for a deaf mixed breed dog since 1990. I've house sat and cared for cocker spaniels and cats. I have taken care of older people, 3 cats & a dog. I cared for 2 golden retrievers in Cold Spring Harbor. I will pass a background check & drug tests. Any cats or dogs I board MUST be HOUSEBROKEN or crate trained. Hire me you will be pleased.

I have known Barbara M. For 12 years. She has always owned a pet & treated it as part of her family. Her dogs were well trained, friendly & sweet. I’ve had Barbara & her dog Cooper stay at my place & care for my 2 dogs. Barbara is reliable, she would cook chicken & rice for my dogs, she walked them 4 times a day. They were clean, well cared for & happy. I trust her implicitly & will always have Barbara pet sit. She loves animals & is responsible and kind. When it comes to care Barbara can be the picture associated with it. I have and will trust my dog with her at any time. She has had her own pups that she thought of them as her own children. She is always on point when it comes to ensuring their safety and does not take any chances. They are always top of mind and every other minute is used to think of them.

I’d like to know if the dog has allergies or any issues that I need to be aware of. I need to know if the pet is friendly w/other dogs or should I keep the pet by himself on a walk. I’d like the Vets name & address & I will prepare a waiver or plan in case of an emergency.
A typical day
I will walk dogs to the beach if the pavement is not too hot. The beach is across the street from my house, I live in a nice quiet dog friendly neighborhood & will walk the local shady streets. I also have a shady fenced in backyard- I also always have fresh water & healthy dog treats. I’ll be happy to send photos of your pet while it’s in my care. Clients are welcome to drop by & see their pet at my house. I enjoy going to the clients home & making the pet comfortable. Thank you.
