Pet care experience
I have dog sat many times ranging from drop ins to overnights, and I have also taken care of dogs through my many years babysitting and nannying. I would take care of the children/child and also take dogs on walks and look after them throughout the day. I love babysitting/nannying and when there’s a dog I love it even more. I’ve taken care of dogs of varying ages and with behavioral issues as well, and built trust with them to the point that they are excited when I come over (: caregiving in general is one of my vocations and brings me joy.

Barbara did a wonderful job taking care of our three dogs. She handled our very high maintenance Giant Schnauzer and Doberman very well. We highly recommend and would definitely use her again!

I am currently living in a home with 2 cats so services at my house won’t be an option at the moment. I’ve taken care of pets in others homes plenty of times before though and I try to keep their day as routine as possible while being intuitive to their needs and wants.
Information Barbara M. would like to know about your pet
I am very open to many different kinds of dogs. Just like us, dogs have pasts that we may or may not know about that effect their behavior. I want to have compassion and build trust with them. I would just like to know if they have any particular behaviors I should know about before hand or medical issues that effect their day to day.
A typical day
I love to make sure they’re getting plenty of exercise, depending on their age and ability of course. I like to just be intuitive to their needs and wants while also introducing activities they may like.

Availability
I currently work part time and also work from home 3 days of the week. On the other 2, I go into the office for 4-6 hours. My schedule is also very flexible, as I can come and go when I please, which makes time and availability to watch pups that might have stricter schedules.
