I have owned pets for as long as I can remember. Over the years, I have had dogs, cats, ferrets, fish, birds, hamsters, guinea pigs, rabbits, and even hermit crabs. Most of them were strays and/or rescues that found their way to my home and into my heart. My husband, Lionel has had his share of pets too – a cat, hamsters, and even two orphaned chicks that he rescued from a stable in Staten Island, NY, where he did volunteer work. He joined the Army at 18, and proudly served for 20 years. However, it didn’t allow him to own pets due to travel requirements associated with his military duties. After many years, he was finally able to get his dream dog – a Rottweiler. They spent many happy years together. We have been together for 20 years, and currently have 1 dog and 6 cats that we spoil daily. We are both retired so our schedules are pretty flexible. We follow the owner's wishes because we know separations are stressful. We want to try to make it as easy as possible for your furbabies and at the same time, provide a stress-free get-away for you! We believe in lots of love and attention for any pet. We know they are a part of the family, so we’ll treat your pet as though it was our own. By coming to your home, we believe the pets will be less stressed because the environment is a familiar one. We would be happy to help you with your furbabies!
