My chiweenie and I will sit your dog under <20 pounds. Cooper and I sit only one dog at a time... your pup has my full attention and you have a more personalized customer experience. I look forward to more dog company! I’m home full time and welcome the companionship. We have plenty of sunshine, a fenced property, a nice deck (and couch) for sunning, plus we walk a half-mile loop once or twice a day. I have patience, compassion and plenty of time. If your little dog is wary of other dogs- don’t worry. My chiweenie is well-balanced and gives protective dogs their space.

Barbara has been amazing at dog sitting my miniature dachshund. She sends multiple updates/photos throughout the day and makes the pick up and drop off very easy! My dog is always happy to see her too!

Your dog will be on a leash outside, fully supervised. I have a small kennel if you recommend it for nighttime. We often go to our lake house, 1.5 hours away. Your dog will go with us! Don’t worry- you’ll know before you book if that’s in our plans. Many of the pictures on Rover are from the lake house.

I’ll make sure puppy’s comfortable. Many people think no one can care for their “special case” dog.... I bet you’re wrong. I've lived with little dogs all my life and have learned a lot on the way.
A typical day
We feed and potty Cooper first thing in the morning, then take sun, sometimes with a brushing. He’ll nap, get some pets and follow me around the house. Around 4pm, Cooper will demand I take him on a walk, then it’s dinner time and lapdog time. He would enjoy some dog company to sit with, watch and follow. He’ll play with a playful dog, but doesn’t seem to initiate play. So, if your pup is a loner, he’ll leave him/her alone although he’ll want to sit with him/her.
