A Place Where Children Love Pets
Pet care experience
We are a homeschooling family with four children who love pets of all kinds! We currently have 4 cats, 3 guinea pigs and a big, yellow lab (who is still a puppy!). We have a fully fenced in yard and would love the opportunity to take care of your pet and love on them while you are away.

Barbara and her family were great! Gus enjoyed his time playing with Maggie. Gus slept with their family and seemed very happy. I enjoyed the pictures of Gus during his stay. I would recommend Barbara for anyone needing a pet sitter.
Our ZaNova had such a great time! We received pictures and updates throughout her stay. She was so loved on by Barbara Jean and her family and had a doggy playmate as well. Plenty of fenced in outdoor space and a safe environment. So glad we chose Barbara Jean. Will definitely be using her in the future.
Barbara Jean kept our dog, Milo, for nearly a week while we were on vacation. She gave us updates with pictures on a daily basis. He was so worn out and happy when we came back home! I will definitely use Barbara Jean again in the future. Thank you so much!

We are able to feed your pet and keep them safe and loved until you return to pick them up. We do require a kennel or dog bed for your pet for night time. For larger dogs we will plan to have them outside during the day as much as possible. Small dogs will be welcome to be inside with us.

A typical day
We plan to give lots of cuddles and love to your pet. If it's a large breed, he will get to hang out with our lab, Maggie.

Availability
We are home most of the time. Maggie, our lab, lives outside during the day and sleeps in the house at night. Our guinea pigs live inside in our den in their open top cage (but we have a cage cover). Our cats live outside. The children feed the animals every morning and throughout the day as nutrition needs require. Of course I assist as necessary and give reminders and check in with them daily about the care of the pets.
