Pets of all sorts have been a part of my family for most of my life, and I can’t imagine life without them! (Our current animal family members include a 130 lb. Maremma Sheepdog named Belle, 2 very elderly cats, and 2 youngster cats.) I have experience caring for cats, rodents, caged birds and chickens, fish, turtles, puppies and adult dogs. I am knowledgeable about puppy training (including training with the Sirius incentive-based, gentle approach) and adept with canine elder care. I am a Licensed Marriage Family Therapist in private practice, specializing in play therapy with children. I know from a personal and professional standpoint that play is essential for animals as it is for human children (and most of us adults, too!) I have a flexible schedule for home visits and puppy and/or dog walking or play periods to accommodate many schedules and needs.
