Pet care experience
I started with pets in my mid 20's as a college student in Athens, GA. I have now been a cat owner for over 40 years, most of the time with 2 cats at any given time. After having 3 children who constantly begged for a dog, I also became a dog owner 20 years years ago. I love my pets fiercely. We have challenges now that they are aging, with both being on medication full time, but it is worth it. I don't know what I would do without them.

I currently only do drop-in visits. I believe your pet is most comfortable being in their own home environment as it's enough of an adjustment with you being gone.

The information I'd need to know about your pet - feeding, medication, etc. can typically be covered during a Meet and Greet visit prior to looking after your pet.
A typical day
The activities I do with your pet depends on their age and energy level. Some dogs enjoy chasing and catching balls; others might just enjoy "doing their own thing" in the backyard during our visit. Some cats enjoy chasing a laser pointer (which I generally carry in my purse) and others like me to get on the floor with them and just pet them. Still others just want to be left alone!

I am retired so my schedule is currently pretty open. As a retiree, I do a bit of traveling but I attempt to keep my Rover calendar up to date.
