We LOVE dogs (and they seem to love us)! Each of us have had dogs for many years in our past; we know the ins and outs of making sure your dog is happy, healthy, and secure while staying with us. We can handle all sizes... just no puppies (less than 1 year old), please!

Ruby had the best time and was well taken care of during her 3 day stay with Barbara and Darryll! We got plenty of updates and it was so comforting knowing she was happy and safe so we could enjoy our vacation!

Barbara and Darryll are absolutely wonderful and their communication was amazing. My mom used them and they were very patient with us as I was the middle man most of the time. Fenris loved her visit!! Thank you so much and we look forward to being able to have a loving and safe space for Fenris when we are out of town!

Your dog will be free to hang out with us wherever we are in our ~1,500 sq ft ranch home. Your rules are our rules. If your pup is allowed on the couch at home, he/she will be welcome on ours (as long as there's room for us to sit there when we want to). If the couch is forbidden at your home, we will enforce that rule at ours. Same goes with our bed. We have an unfenced yard, so we offer at least two walks per day. If you -- and we -- are comfortable with your dog being off-leash, we'll make sure your he/she gets in some good run time at our local dog-friendly park (Dog Mountain) during his/her stay with us.

A typical day
We frequently go for walks in our neighborhood. We also take our 4-legged friends to the nearby "Town Forest" as well as to St. Johnsbury's famous "Dog Mountain" for walks on trails in the woods.

Availability
We're home all day, so your dog will get LOTS of attention, including walks in our quiet neighborhood or at nearby parks. We're early risers and will take your dog out for a quick "bio break" as soon as we get up. The rest of the day, we'll follow your dog's routine, as long as we can be in bed by 9pm.
