Pet care experience
I have been around dogs all my life. My best friend had a dog, so I did too. He even came on vacation with us (the friend AND his dog!)! I have owned and trained a big, beautiful red husky, a lab/ridge-back mix, and a husky-sheltie mix. I spent 9 months as a live-in care-taker to a family of 5 cats (mixed ages, some medical issues, so med administration is something I do). And 5 months as a live-in care-take to a family of 5 Chinese Crested Dogs. Again, some medical issues, and one was highly aggressive. Here at home, we talk to everyone (the dogs and I), and listen to music. At night we chill with a t.v. show, or we read. During the day we go for walks around the reservoir or to Cushing Park. And we love playing at the dog parks unleashed! when (almost) no one else is there! We also play in our the back yard (mommy and daddy (Paul) clean up the poop every day, hee-hee).

Barbara and Paul were wonderful to our dog Danny! He was well cared for and was very happy with them! They sent us lots of pictures and kept us up to date on how he was doing! He loved all of his walks and cuddles with them! They loved him like their own! We will definitely book with them again!
Barbara took care of our Boston Terrier Marco for the Christmas weekend and we couldn’t be more grateful. She took the time for a meet and great and it was wonderful! They got along immediately. We picked him up after a couple of days and Marco was happy & healthy. We will be back for sure!
We were so lucky to find Barbara to look after our dog during holiday break. She was genuine and very kind,and very flexible. Our flight was delayed by 1 day, and she was able to accommodate the last minute change. She took our dog out for a long walk everyday, sent us pictures and videos. She even took him for a bath on her own. Amazing person. Thank you so much!
Barbara is a wonderful dog sitter. Molly enjoyed walks in the park and her expansive lawn. Barbara and her husband clearly enjoyed having Molly with them and sent us regular updates and pics of their time together. Was terrific to not worry in the least and know she was well cared for.

I have a fenced area in the yard for the dogs to play. Dogs are walked on lease. And we all lounge around together inside! Crate trained dogs please as dogs are crated at night and when I am out.

Personality traits; their sleeping habits; are they barkers, and of course house trained, crate trained (important!!) We do meet and greets at the local park. We do not accept Pit Bulls, Rottweilers, Dobermans or other 'aggressive' breeds. Large and gentle are accepted as are other sizes except tiny dogs as my puppy might squash them!
A typical day
We have many choices of dog walk and play areas. We visit dog parks during the quiet hours for some off lease time, as well as in the fenced area in my backyard. Leased walks occur daily also. And we rest in comfort, inside the house and in the backyard.

I am semi-retired! So bring the dogs!! So I can have playtime!! The dogs get me out in the morning and the afternoon for walks. And we have playtime in the yard in between walks!
