Pet care experience
I have a lifetime of experience caring for dogs, children, cats, and large animals/ horses and children. I took early retirement after 36 years as a Pediatric RN and Manager. I live in a large home with my husband and two yellow labs, age 9 and 11. Our five children are grown. Our home is clean, quiet without chaos and comfortable. We have large open rooms and wide open spaces outdoors on our 25 acre hobby farm. Dogs can run, hike and play on or off leash per owner's request. Puppies / all ages are welcome. Crates are available for dogs that use or need them. Dogs will be cared for per your direction and treated like family in our home. Our two aged Yellow Labs are socialized and very tolerant of other dogs in our home. They are wonderful with puppies and can help your puppy learn to socialize with other dogs. Your dog will have company and playtime during the day and comfort at night. Adult dogs must be house broken and puppies in process to use our services. Dogs with special needs (needing help with ambulation, injections or specialized treatments are welcome with a negotiable additional fee. All dogs must be protected with tick and flea and have routine vetting done. Dogs will be carefully monitored to assure they have a wonderful experience. Photos and texts s will be shared with you daily and as you wish. Dogs with aggressive or destructive tendencies and adult breeding dogs may not use our services. I am a licensed NH DCYF foster parent not providing foster care at this time in my home. We do have horses on property and two feral barn cats. Barbara has watched our little 15 year old Minina intermittently over the past year. I cannot say enough about how amazing she is with dogs and animals in general. She is the definition of an animal lover and lives conveniently on a beautiful farm with large pastures (Yellow Dog Farm). She is not only caring but truly knowledgable and responsible when caring for her visitors. Bottom line, if there's anyone to trust with your most valuable sidekick, it's 100% Barb!
Barbara is reliable, kind, responsible and a huge animal lover! She knows all animals large and small and cares for them all equally. She has a large amount of medical knowledge in the animal (and human) field so I am always confident my animals are in good hands. Barbara has taken care of both my horse and my dog on multiple occasions. My dog LOVES her property, her animals and her!! I always feel comfortable going on vacation knowing my animals are sleeping safe in her home :)
