Animals were in my life for as long as I can remember. For my 10th birthday, I got my Boston Terrier puppy Tony and he’s been my best friend ever since. As a family, we made sure he was given plethora of attention and care, which allowed me and my parents to train him to walk around the city without a leash, be friendly with dogs and humans and generally be the perfect partner in crime for whatever activity we had in mind, whether that was hiking or long afternoon naps. Naturally, Tony is a part of the family and is rarely left at home. He is also never refused a spot in our beds; usually we fight over who gets to have him for the night. Unfortunately, Tony is also troubled with atopic eczema since birth, so I am no stranger to rigorous diets, daily baths and frequent vet visits. More recently, I have also been a sitter for our neighbours baby Frenchie, who is very lively. He required way longer walks and more attention, which I was happy to provide for him. I’m very active, so I enjoy frequent walks and love when I have the opportunity to take a dog with me. Additionally, I also frequently take care of my grandma’s Yorkshire Terrier who requires a lot of daily grooming, which I have learned to master over the years.
