Reviews
Bao is reliable and responds quickly to communication.
Bao did a great job with my dog, who is not the easiest dog to watch. She was very competent and friendly and asked good questions. My dog bounded to the front door. 100% would book again!
Bao did a very great job watching Bianka! She sent me photos amd kept me up to date on how things were going, I could tell Bianka had a great time with her. I feel confident in leaving my dog with her again.

FOR DOG WALKING: I have experience walking a variety of dogs: hunting dogs; highly reactive, socially anxious, and lunging dogs; dogs at any age (puppy to senior); and dogs in training. For daily or repeat dog guests, my dog Zen joins after the 2nd walk unless it is indicated that it is best to walk my dog guests alone. Zen is almost trained to walk near me, and I use a hands-free leash which helps a lot to navigate whoever joins our walk! FOR BOARDING/DOGGY DAY CARE: My style of interacting with dogs is to come from a lens of understanding their needs and figuring out how to best meet them. Dogs need love, care, and play just like humans especially like children who I also love. My goal is to read, understand, and do what is best for your dog to feel comfortable, cool, and healthy. What you can expect: Our dog guest gets a guaranteed daily 30 minute walk with their stay. More walks in the evening are available too which are complimentary! They will be let out every 2-3 hours for pee or poop breaks. If feeding is needed, we provide dog bowls for food and water both indoor and outdoors so you don't need to bring your own (complimentary poop bags are provided too). Playtime is usually every 1-2 hours with at least an hour rest/break interval from one another. For warmer days: I have an un-fenced yard, but we have long leashes that allows the dogs to still play outdoors with one another. We visit dog parks often too and can take them there if registered. For colder days: we'll be inside mostly, but have a whole basement for them to play together or separate them too. We visit an indoor dog park (Unleashed Hounds & Hops) in Minneapolis, and if your dog is registered there we can have playtime there too and work out payments for that. NOTE ON BOARDING RATES: My rate per night is $35 for 24 hours. Any additional hour will be $6 extra per 4 hours increments. Example: If you book on Monday at 8am to 4pm on Wednesday, then your rate will be $82 = $70 ($35 per night for 2 nights) + $12 ($6 per 4 hours for additional 8 hours on Wednesday from 8am to 4pm). Let me know if you have questions about this! NOTE ON DOGGY DAY CARE RATES: My rate is $30 per day for 12 hours. Any additional hours will be $4 per hour after. Example: If your day booking is from 7am - 9pm, then your rate will be $38 = $30 (1 day rate) + $8 (for additional 2 hours at $4 per hour). Let me know if you have questions about this! PERKS OF BOOKING MY SERVICES: - I use the Rover app to track activities - I have LOCKED-IN RATES for daily or repeat dog guests! Ask me about how this works - I live near a few big parks with plenty of walking trails and paths - I also take Venmo payments for easier transactions (although booking will be outside of Rover) - I am flexible and willing to do what is best for your dog to feel comfortable! - I value honesty, kindness, transparent communication, and humility so I strive to make experiences at my home (or your home) as pleasant as possible Note on my dog, Zen: Any dog that visits will be with Zen, but space is available (we have a basement just for dogs) to separate them if or when needed. Zen plays and gets along very well with both of my sibling's dogs (an 80 lbs Samoyed & 6 lbs yorkie + shih tzu mix), but as a rescue she still gets anxious around meeting new dogs for the first time so she may bark if another dog barks first lol She is currently undergoing training to work on her barking and continuing to improve her social skills. She may wear a muzzle for training purposes. Please feel free to ask any questions. We're excited to meet you!

Information Bao V. would like to know about your pet
How does your dog react with new dogs? and with new people? in a crowd of people/dogs? and with kids? **this is helpful for me to know what to do if strangers want to approach or if new dogs are available to play. Does your dog have any allergies? What kind of behavior should I stay aware of while staying with us? What is your dog's typical schedule? **Knowing this can help me match to their schedule as best as I can so your dog doesn't feel out place with already being in a new home How often does your dog poop/pee in a day? **This is helpful for me so I can know how often I can expect them to pee/poop and report back. I understand too that sometimes dogs don't pee or poop regularly in new environments.
A typical day
Zen and I are up by 7:30am. I go and greet Zen and give her time to say hello. Then we go outside for a pee/poop break and then meal time. If time permits, we do a quick walk around the block. I work almost anywhere that has free space in my home: outside when it is not as steamy, my dining table, the living room, or my bedroom. If your dog has anxiety, I can commit to working in the common areas where they can see me. Zen goes outside twice a day around noon and 3pm for a pee/poop break. Then we go for a longer walk later in the evening, sometimes twice an evening. Then it is dinner time for Zen around 8pm. We love cuddling and playing afterwards to wind down. My partner is also a HUGE dog lover! And he is available after his workday to help care for your dog(s) too. So we have plenty of hands on board to help out.
