Pet care experience
An animal lover since childhood, now pursing my DVM! I graduated from MSU in Spring ‘22 with my BS in Zoology, focused on Animal Behavior & Neurobiology and am now am back at MSU for veterinary school! I have worked as a Veterinary Assistant for over four years at a mixed small animal practice, where I have become knowledgeable and comfortable with a variety of animals. To me, spending time with animals is the best time spent — I will love your fur baby like my own! I’m also passionate about music, nature, and art. With my experience in both veterinary medicine and pet care, keying into your pets personality to ensure their health and happiness is my priority. I’m kind, reliable and patient with all animals - my experience ranges over a wide variety of breeds, with returning owners for over 5+ years. I enjoy bringing dogs on adventures to some of my favorite trails and beaches to explore. Whether it’s keeping busy with a toy or snuggling your cat, I’m here for it! I also have experience with administering medication. I spent 21 years with my childhood kitty, so have a soft spot for the elderly pets in our lives and plenty of experience to go alongside. Can’t wait to meet you & your companion(s)!

We can’t say enough good things about our experience with Bailey. She was a perfect fit to watch our two dogs and house sit for a week while we went on vacation. She provided regular updates and took great care of our pups. She is very trustworthy and you can feel confident that she’ll take good care of your pet too. No question that we will have her back! It was a great experience and we appreciated all the effort she put in during her stay.
Bailey came and met with us to meet the fur babies and go over everything several days before we left. When she was here she communicated with us and sent us pictures which made us feel much better. This was the first time ours had a pet sitter that wasn’t family:). Our pups are in love ?. She left everything perfect. Can’t say enough good things ❤️. Trusting someone to come into your home is difficult. Bailey is trustworthy and the pets love her.

I would highly recommend Bailey as a dog sitter. She has dog sat for our pups on various occasions and was so great with them. She treated them like her own, and was awesome about sending me pictures of them and communicating with any questions that came up. Bailey stayed at our home while dog sitting and she left everything clean and orderly. It was so reassuring that our dogs could be in the comfort of their own home and cared for by someone so kind and responsible while we were away. If our pups could talk I know they would also highly recommend Bailey for the job!

Most importantly, getting to know your pups’ personality will allow us to have the best experience together. Their quirks, what they love and don’t love so much, knowing locations of where your pet likes to spend time, their food and/or medications are stored, leashes or winter gear, toys, etc allow for a comfortable experience for your pet while away. Providing a stress-free experience for your dog is my top priority, so my goal is to facilitate their every day routine - whether that may require lots of playing or just relaxing!
A typical day
I love to take pups on walks to some of my favorite trails or beaches around the peninsula in the summer! If your dog likes car rides, we can go on a drive and listen to some tunes together. I’m an active person, so spending time outside with your pet is a plus for me!

☆ Please note! I will be leaving TC and returning to the Lansing area the second week of August until the first week of May. As a veterinary student, my schedule varies however most days I am finished with class between 12-3pm. I am available for overnight stays as well as for potty breaks or walks on certain days! I have always enjoyed balancing my school-work life while finding time to care for pets between. I have a serving job that I typically work 2 nights a week at during the school year.
