Pet care experience
I've had a dog for 15 years and have helped pet sit for other friends and family on and off within that time. I am comfortable walking, feeding, bathing, and participating in some training of almost any doggo out there!

I live in a three bedroom apartment that has a spacious living area with lots of room to play. The park that is about a block away is a great place to run around and play fetch. I can easily crate the dog if necessary, but they are also welcome in the bed if they prefer that. However, I would be happy to keep to any rules about furniture that are implemented in your home. Normally when caring for dogs, I take them out about every two hours for potty breaks when I am home and guarantee at least two short walks during the work day. Playing and enrichment activities are important to me so I will spend some time every day doing that with your pupper!

I like knowing any particular behaviors I should watch out for, like reactivity to other dogs or people, resource guarding, or attachment anxiety so I can best be prepared if a situation arises. I prefer dogs that are not to anxiously attached as I do not work from home.
A typical day
I love walking, running, and hiking and am happy to bring any doggo along with me. I find mental stimulation incredibly important and work to provide at least one enrichment activity every day as well as lots of play time. I'm always pumped to go a little out of my way to find a fun place to hike or a doggy park for the puppers I'm watching to play in!

Availability
I currently work full time. I would not be unable to come home during the work day, but have roommates who may be home to let a dog out, if necessary. While there is no yard, there is a park about a block away from me and I generally will take dogs out every two hours when I'm home for potty breaks or walks. I also love running and hiking and am happy to take the dogs with me!
