Pet care experience
From middle to high school, my neighbors and family members continuously relied on me to take care of their pets of all sizes. Since moving to Chattanooga for college in 2020, I have continued to petsit for coworkers and their friends and even have housesat for them for several weeks at a time. I will do everything I can to show love and care to to your pet while you are away!

I hired Bailey to come house and pet sit for a long vacation last year. It was the first time I would be leaving Miss Zelda Cat for longer than a few days. Zelda was very shy, and wanted to like people but didn't quite know how. After a few days, Bailey had a lap cat who would tell her all about breakfast. She was very communicative with me, and my house was in great shape when I came home. More interestingly, Zelda has become very friendly and even flirtatious when meeting new people. Somehow Bailey was exactly the right "other person" to teach her that most folks are OK and are good for a few pets. I have hired Bailey again and also recommend her to friends. She's great!
Bailey has cared for my dogs multiple times and they LOVE her! She has stayed at my home, done drop-in visits, and walked them. I've always found her to be dependable, and we'll happily keep using her for our pet-sitting needs!

I always want to make sure that while I am petsitting for you that I keep a clean environment for both your pet and when you return home. Whether you need someone to stay in your home or just come by during the day while you’re out of town, then I will come whenever is necessary to take them out and/ or feed them. As someone with their own pets and grew up with them, I understand the love and care that goes into having one. So, I want to do whatever I can to give your pet the best care as well as what you expect/ what they need.

It is good to know any restrictions your dog may have. Whether it is dietary or physical activity restrictions, I want to be sure I am giving your dog the specialized care that they deserve. It is also beneficial to know what type of medication that they are on and how that may affect them throughout the day, so I can stay aware to any of their specific needs.
A typical day
I love giving dogs the activity that they need! I will play with them, run around with them, or even just snuggle with them! I love taking the dogs I watch on long walks around their neighborhood and playing with them outside in their backyard or any nearby park. I’ll always end an active day inside with lots of pets and cuddles to make sure your dog feels well cared for!

Availability
I currently am in school at UTC and work in the University Library. With most of my classes online, my schedule tends to be very flexible during the weeks, so I have more time to focus on your pet and give them the attention that they need! I have classes and work throughout the week, I tend to have enough free time outside of those obligations to give your pets the attention they need. With cats of my own, I have learned how to balance petsitting with outside responsibilities.
