Pet care experience
I have grown up with dogs and have never been without a spoiled pup in my life. Currently I have 3 pups. A 7 year old rescue mutt, 2 year old German Shepherd, and 1 year old Golden Retriever that get along well with other dogs. I have taken care of friends and family pets on and off for most of my life. I have experience with dogs of a wide range of breeds, sizes, ages and temperaments so there is no breed I am unwilling to care for. I have experience working in a doggy daycare/boarding facility where I learned a lot about canine behavior and training. My younger dogs have both earned their Canine Good Citizen titles through the AKC at 6 and 7 months old and recently earned their CGCAdvanced and CGCUrban titles. I really enjoy working on obedience with dogs and helping them become the best pups they can be. I have raised my shepherd and golden, as well as my family dog, since they were tiny pups so I have plenty of puppy experience. Leash manners are one of the things I like to instill in my dogs. They are allowed sniff walks but I teach them not to pull which makes the walks more enjoyable. I am also a full time professional pet groomer. I groom dogs and cats in a professional work environment so if your pup needs a bath, nail trimming, or other grooming related service I am capable and happy to provide those services. If you happen to have a cat who will allow it, I can also trim kitty nails! We have a very large fenced in back yard with doggy pool and sprinkler in the summer as well as LOTS of toys and indoor doggy ball pit in the winter and a small agility set.

I have three pups of my own all crate trained and friendly. I am able to crate your dog if you would like but we also have a whole bedroom for our dogs, so if crates make them anxious they can have free roam of the dog room instead of being crated. We have dog beds throughout our house for dogs to sleep on. Our back yard is very large, very well shaded by trees, and fully fenced. We keep our gates on our fence locked so nobody may enter. We have plenty of toys, lick mats, and treat puzzles for enrichment. We use dog safe foods on our lick mats. Our dogs are all well mannered and are obedience trained from a young age. We spend lots of time outside with our dogs when the weather is suitable and they have constant access to water so they stay well hydrated. Our house is definitely set up to suit pets as our pets are our babies and we will treat your dog as one of our own. I can even teach your baby a new trick or two if you’d like! If your pup needs a bath or a nail trim I am a professional pet groomer and I have a grooming table and other grooming equipment in my home to pamper your pup!

We have a cat so we can only host cat friendly dogs. One of my dogs is an unfixed female so we cannot board unfixed males. If there are any medical needs please let me know ahead of time so we can make sure our home would be a good fit for your dogs stay in as we have young, active dogs in this home who enjoy playing.
A typical day
We like to spend lots of time playing and sniffing around our big back yard. We have lots of fun treat puzzles, lick mats, and other enrichment toys for those days when the weather isn’t suitable to be outside. We have a doggy pool, sprinkler, bungee tree toy, and other fun outdoor activities for the summer. In the winter we have plenty of indoor toys including a doggy ball pit! We like to play scent games, learn new tricks, and go for sniff walks around the neighborhood. Our neighbor dogs are super friendly and fun and will talk with us through the backyard fence!

Availability
I am currently a dog groomer/walker/boarder through Rover and Wag as my means of making money. I am home full time unless I have a walk or drop in to go do during the day so my schedule is pretty open most of the time.
