Pet care experience
I have a dog of my own so I know what it takes to make a dog happy. It's more than just taking them out and feeding them. They should feel happy and safe. Dogs need stimulation and enrichment during the day so they don't become depressed or bored. I understand people have to make a living though, but a half hour walk for your dog can make all the difference to them while you're gone during the day. I can help keep your dog on a training schedule, or run them so they are tuckered out and sleep a little better at night, or even socialize them by taking them to the dog park or having them interact with my dog so they do better with other dogs.

Bailey dog-sat for us while we traveled for several days. Prior to our trip, she stopped by the house to get the lay of the land, and to meet Cisco. Cisco is weary of strangers initially, but he quickly warmed up to Bailey. During our trip, she sent a couple of updates on our pup along with a photos, which is enough to make her the greatest dog-sitter in my book :) We came home a happy dog who was clearly well taken care of. We highly recommend Bailey to watch your beloved pet!

A typical day
Currently with my husky, we hike on trails all over the front range. But whatever activity your dog enjoys I can adapt too, whether they are old and want to sit on the couch, or active and want to do 5 mile trail!

I am currently working part time at a wildlife rehabilitation center, and after school programs doing environmental education. I’m available for drop ins and dog walking Tuesday-Saturday at the moment.
