Pet care experience
I've been taking care of dogs in the valley since I moved here in 2011. Our 10 year old dog, Kona, loves the company. We love to be outside hiking, going for long walks, or just relaxing in the shade. I love that we live in a community where you don't have to board your pup when you go out of town, because we live in such a dog loving valley! I dog sit a few times a month usually in my home. I have experience with older dogs who need special care, medications, and help getting around. I know the anxiety that can come with leaving your dog with someone, so I always make sure to treat the dogs I watch just as I would want my own to be treated. Lots of love!
Reviews
Sent regular and cute pupdates. Bear had a blast and had a content look for days!
Bailey and her husband Josh were great with walking our pup! Responsive and caring. Would definitely use them again!
Bailey was a great sitter for rocket. They were extremely nice and very caring for our pup. She kept us well informed and sent pictures of rocket every day. Even over a holiday weekend they were so great while we were gone. We definitely recommend Bailey to anyone who needs a pet sitter.
Bailey is hands down the best dog caretaker around. She provides exceptional care, love, and attention to our furball and pays extra attention to the details our lil’ one needs so that she’s comfortable. She is communicative which allows us to fully relax while we’re away, knowing she’s in good hands. She is punctual, reliable, and full of enthusiasm, Bailey is a true professional. 10/10 recommend

I have a fenced in backyard, but we usually opt for walks/hikes throughout the day. I live right on Gore Creek in the heart of Vail Village. My dog, Kona, is a 10 year old Pyrenees mix. She is very chill and loves other dogs, especially small dogs and puppies. She will play if the time is right, but give the other dog space as well.

Information Bailey L. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know if your dog barks alot. My husband and I live off the lobby of the hotel he manages, so if the dog barks continuously while being there, it unfortunaley will not be a great fit. Please let me know if your dog is friendly with other dogs, other people, children, and is trusted off leash in safe areas. Also, how are they in car rides? If we go hike a trail that we need to drive to.
A typical day
The day starts with a walk down the Gore Creek path to Ford Park. We typically loop around the softball feilds, stop for creek dipping, and lots of sniffing. I normally get to a place in the park where there is no one else around and let Kona run off leash for a bit. If you are not comfortable with this, I will always make sure your dog gets plenty of excercise on leash.

I work full time in Vail, but I live 1 mile from my work. I come home often to let the dogs out or take them for walks. My husband works from home so our pup is very rarely ever alone. She likes to travel with us when she can.
