Pet care experience
I’ve had animals ever since I was little. In my professional life I’m a caretaker for chimpanzees at a sanctuary. Im responsible for feeding, medicating, accounting for, and enriching them. It’s a lot of fun. I’ve had all sorts of pets (dogs, ferrets, Guinea pigs, cats, tarantulas, horses, etc.). I currently have 4 cats. Die hard animal lover and I’ll make sure your fur children get all the love and attention they need and then some.

I have a fenced yard, a cozy home and 4 cats plus a friendly dog to keep your fur children happy. I’m also more than willing to come to your home and give them walks and attention there. I’m trustworthy so you don’t have to worry about anything weird going on. I’m just looking to make a few extra bucks in the side of my regular job and I love love love working with animals.

Are they friendly with other dogs? Any special protocols when walking - are you working on anything specific such as no jumping, sitting before walking and not immediately running out the gate, no pulling on leash.. let me know because I can help!
A typical day
I wake up, go to work - at save the chimps where I’m responsible for caring for up to 21 chimpanzees at a time. Making sure each one is fed, medicated (for those that need it), accounted for, enriched 3x daily, then I go home and do it all over again for the next 5 days. There’s 12 different islands with different chimpanzees families and I could be at any group. Each family has their own unique dynamic so you can be assured of my attention to detail and creating a comfortable fun experience for your fur child.

Availability
I work full time sat-wed from 730-400 pm. I’m available anytime after 4 pm on those days and of course available anytime on my off days (thur/fri).
