Pet care experience
I have been taking care of animals since I was in second grade! I got my first dog at that age and fell in love with animals ever since. My family has always had many animals come in our household- cats, dogs, fish, birds. Besides taking care of my family’s animals I have dog sat on multiple occasions for neighbors/family friends. I love going on walks with dogs and cuddling up with cats as well as dogs :) I have done short term animal care as well as up to a month of taking care of an animal while it’s owner is away. I am punctual, enthusiastic, very good at following directions, and incredibly loving+caring (especially to animals). I love love animals and I look forward to working with yours!!

Bailey was a wonderful companion and sitter for our dog!! She treated him to frequent walks, played with him, administered his medication and kept his special dietary needs and schedule! It was great to know our dog was in such good hands!!!
I was in a bind and had to book very last minute, so it’s an understatement to say that I am so thankful for Bailey’s help! She left such detailed updates, and I can tell she did everything she could to keep Penny’s schedule as close to her usual day as possible. I truly appreciate everything she did for us this weekend. I can not provide housing for the animal at my own house as my home does not allow animals. In the past, I have taken care of the animals by feeding, letting them outside, giving them love and attention in their own home, going on walks+runs. I am also a big fan of dog parks! Also if the owner has a yard, I love to have the dogs play fetch or tug of war! I am very open to recreating whatever normal activities you and your dog do.

A typical day

I am currently on summer break from teaching 3rd grade. I will return to LSU in the fall to further my education. I have full availability and I am incredibly flexible with my hours. I can do short term or long term!
