I grew up with dogs my entire life--they even let me push them around in my stroller as a child. Interacting with dogs has always come naturally to me, largely from growing up with them. But also because dogs are so intuitive and nurturing. I think dogs can be therapeutic for a number of reasons and I enjoy being around them when I can. Safe to say I think they enjoy being around me. I'd imagine that's what they'd tell you. I really enjoy walking around D.C. and adding a dog to the mix makes walks much more lovely and fun.
