Pet care experience
Hi everyone! We just recently moved to the area from Maryland where we lived for 4 years. My husband just got out of the Army and that allowed us to move back home to the Midwest! We both grew up with dogs and cats and have had our 3 current dogs for 6-11 years. We love to have extra pups to play with and our dogs love it too! Before Maryland, my husband and I fostered dogs for 3 years and have been doing Rover for over a year now! We know how to make dogs comfortable from the moment they meet us! We enjoy going on hikes, hanging out by the water, playing fetch and getting allll the snuggles. Our goal is to make your dogs feel as though nothing has changed and to feel at home with us. Starting from being comfortable where they sleep, all the way to the company they keep. We are also able to keep your animals separated from ours in a case that your dog prefers it’s own space, or just for pure comfort. We do have a daughter that loves dogs, so your pup must be kid friendly if they stay at our house (: Our family can’t wait to meet your fur babies!(:

We arranged a meet-and-greet and Bailey A. gradually introduced each member of the family so that our dog (also named Bailey) felt really comfortable the entire time. We communicated regularly throughout the stay and Bailey A. sent photos of Bailey the Dog having a great time. We'll definitely be back again!
Ruby's stay with Bailey was top notch! She was very friendly and communicative leading up to and during the stay. She sent several videos of Ruby to me, which assured me that Ruby was having a great time. I definitely plan on using Bailey again! As a matter of fact, I've already booked it with her!

We have a pretty good sized fenced in yard! Our dogs enjoy to lay on the back porch all morning usually. But the second it starts getting hot or cold, they come in.

A few questions I like to know is: Are there any behavioral problems we should know about? Will your dog bolt out the door? Do your animals eat once or twice a day? We do have a daughter. Is this okay? Are they spayed/neutered? Are they potty trained/do they mark? Are they kennel trained? Are you comfortable with the dogs being alone from 8:00am-3pm?
A typical day
We enjoy going for walks around the neighborhood! Every evening we play fetch in the backyard until our dogs get tired. Snuggling up together is the best way to finish the evening!

Availability
I work from home 2 day/week (usually Thursday and one other day). Otherwise, the max amount of time we are gone from the house during the week is roughly from 8-3pm.
