An animal lover is one very good way to describe myself. I have been caring for pets and fostering homeless dogs for over ten years. I am a stay at home mom of two animal loving boys and we have a lot of love to give! My devotion and experience provides me with the skills to provide excellent care and a safe, nurturing environment. I can stimulate your pet with outdoor activities or create a cozy and low key quiet space. I am up front, transparent in my communication with owners and want the best for your pet! My little dog, Moose is a laid back and non reactive guy. My cat is mostly outdoors, lounging around the chicken coop. I spend a lot of time at home which allows a lot of attention for your fur baby. Our dog could not settle in at this house. Whether it was the kids, their other pets, something else, I don't know. We ended up having someone pick her up after the first night and take her to the vet, not our first choice since we don't like to leave her in a small kennel. She has been with 4 other dog sitters this year, who were all booked for the time of our trip, and we have never been told she had issues.
I can not recommend Babs highly enough as a pet sitter! Babs is kind, flexible, knowledgeable about dogs, and a lot of fun. My dog, Penny, jumps out of the car and runs to meet her when we arrive at her house. There are toys for Penny to play with, lots of blankets and dog beds for her to snuggle in, a fenced yard to run in, and best of all constant attention and supervision from Babs. I would trust any of my pets with Babs and I highly recommend her!
I was nervous leaving my quirky senior dog with a new sitter, but meeting with Babs beforehand gave me great confidence she would be a good fit. She reassured me through texts and photos that my dog was settling into a comfortable routine at their home. I am very pleased with Bandit's care and will definitely use Babs again. I highly recommend her to others.
Babs welcomed Chelsie into her home. While I was away, she shared wonderful pictures of Chelsie happy with her children and enjoying her environment! I particularly liked the pictures which were sent of her looking out of the window at the grass which is one of her favorite things to do.
