Pet care experience
I've provided pet care (including overnight petsitting) for many friends and families over the past 10+ years. I also currently have a golden retriever and a cat of my own. I am a very active person and would definitely be able to appease a high-energy doggo with walks/runs/playtime. However, I also love cuddling and spending quiet time to build solid relationships with dogs, so senior friends are welcomed as well. I never regret saying yes to caring for someone else's pet, and would pour all my whole heart into loving your family member and treating him/her as my own. Caring for animals is my #1 hobby and it would be my honor to meet yours!

Azua took fantastic care of Otto! She was extremely communicative, and she gave me regular updates as to how he was doing. She sent lots of pictures and videos and gave him lots of love!
Did so well with my puppy! I was a little worried because puppies can be a lot, but Azua did more than I could have even asked for!

I have a very friendly golden retriever at home. If your dog does not like cats, we are also able to keep our cat in a separate room. I'm also happy to crate your dog during certain times of the day if you'd prefer, although I personally like to keep the dog out of the crate as much as possible and spend quality time with them in person.

I would like to know if the dog has any special needs so I can prepare myself and my home in advance. I’d also like to know their temperament, energy level, likes/dislikes, special quirks, and how they get along with other animals and people.
A typical day
I have many dog toys and dog puzzles at home to stimulate them mentally! There is also a dog park across the street from my home, and I have a flirt pole that allows them to run around and have fun. I love taking them on different routes so they can explore new scents.

Availability
I work mornings and early afternoons so my schedule is very flexible for walks and overnight boarding. My partner also works from home full-time so there will always be someone to look after your pet if boarding.
