Pet care experience
I have always loved dogs - owning them, walking them, being with them, and even just seeing them. They bring so much joy to my life and I have unfortunately not been able to own one myself for the past five years because of school. This has been quite difficult for me since my family has owned at least one dog ever since I was born, because my parents believed that kids can learn so much from owning a pet, a mentality that I have adopted. I had the pleasure of living with a dog these past few months while in Seattle for an internship, and everyday seemed a bit brighter, despite the classic Seattle gloom. I'm currently designing an indoor dog park as my senior capstone to get a degree in interior design. Working for Rover could be amazing research - plus there's a cute bonus of getting to be around pups!

Ayla is THE BEST!!!! She is a true blue dog lover, and they love her right back!! She is kind, gentle, and sweet (with both people and dogs), but she also knows how to be firm and in control of your canine. I have a 70lb 2 year old energetic lab/pit mix who is very reactive towards bikes and other dogs, so I am very nervous about anyone else walking her. But Ayla is fantastic - she grew up with a reactive big dog, so she knows how to handle them. She cared for my dog for 9 days while I was out of town and walked her every day, no problem. My dog loves her so much!! She not only got great care and lots of walks, but also lots of snuggles. You and your dog would both be lucky to have Ayla in your lives!

A typical day
We can go on long walks around the neighborhood or to nice parks. We can also do what I like to call a Ten Minute Tenny, or TMT, which means throwing the tennis ball for ten minutes or more, getting the pup to play and run.
