Hi! I’m Aygen. I love all animals! I’ve taken care of both dogs (puppy, adult, senior) and cats (kitty, adult) since I was a young teen. I’ve watched my family and friends’ dogs and cats whenever they needed. I also took care of neighborhood cats, dogs, and birds when I was living in Istanbul. I’ve volunteered for shelters for so many years and helped cats & dogs to find forever homes. I gained experience with giving oral medicine, cleaning wounds, applying topical medication, and grooming throughout the years. I plan on getting my pet CPR certification next year. I’m a lucky human of a rescued cat since 2018. She is a Scottish Fold mix. I love her so much! I will provide care for your pet as much as I do for my own and send so many updates+pictures during the stay. I understand how you feel as a pet parent myself. 🥲 Also, I have a background in photography. I’ll take the cutest pictures of your pet. 🐕🦺🐈⬛

This was my second time using Aygen and she has done such a wonderful job both times. Great & detailed write ups with tons of pictures assure me that my cat is safe and comfortable when I am away.
She’s the absolute best. We feel so comfortable leaving our furry kids in her hands :)
Aygen has cared for my cat, Alessio, on three occasions now 😊 She is absolutely amazing at her job, always ensuring to give him the best care and attention. Her updates are so detailed and she always sends lots of great pictures. My mind was totally at ease for the time I was away. There is nobody I would trust more with my fur baby!

I live in a 1 bedroom apartment with no outdoor space. I don’t have any plants that are toxic for pets. I only use non-toxic cleaning supplies to clean my apartment. There are two different veterinary clinics (BondVet Kips Bay, Murray Hill Pet Hospital) nearby. Both are less than 5 minutes walking distance. There is a dog park nearby (Small Dog Run/Big Dog Run @Madison Sq Park). Let me know if your dog enjoys dog parks! 🐶

Please let me know if your pet has a tendency to look for food in the streets/has any allergies or not. My cat is a free eater. I will put her food away during doggy daycare if needed and will be super careful during walks. I’d like to know if they are potty trained and how frequently they have to go on potty breaks. It’s important for me to know if they are up to date with their vaccinations and flea/tick preventatives. Please update the pet profile before sending a request. I do accept last minute requests but would love to do meet&greets for the bookings that are planned ahead of time.
A typical day
I will do any fun activities that your dog likes to do. I like to take them to the Dog Run at Madison Square Park and East River Esplanade during doggy care. Let me know where your dog loves to go! :) I can also play with them with their toys and give lots of belly rubs if they like!

Availability
I work from home to build my own creative business. I have plenty of time to be a pet caregiver on the side. I’m looking forward to meet cute puppies and kitties of NYC! I would like to do dog walkings, drop-in visits for cats/puppies&senior dogs, rabbits, birds, and doggy daycare and boarding for small breed dogs that get along with cat. My cat had dog siblings before we moved to NYC. She is very chill around them.
