Pet care experience
Help me hit my 2024 Resolution of petting 200 animals 💖 (as of April, 170 pets to go!) I am a trusted cat and dog sitter in my friend group. I've helped get several pets placed in loving homes, as well as providing a loving home for 3 misfit cats. I understand how scary it can be to leave your pet for any extended time, and am here to help alleviate that stress. I'm experienced with most common household pets such as Dogs, Cats, Fish, and Guinea Pigs. I'm very detail oriented, so as long as you provide instructions you can trust they will be followed. I have a special patience for shy, anxious, or easily over stimulated pets. I respect their boundaries and do my best to ensure their needs are met while keeping both of us safe and happy. I have 3 cats of my own, one is very anxious, and another has 2 daily medications. Ive taught them all to sit on command, and one of them also knows to "stand" and is learning "spin".

I was so anxious about going out of town and leaving my cat for the first time. Aye really helped make the whole process less intimidating. Knowing they were taking such good care of my newly rescued (and anxious) kitten made things so much smoother. Aye was so communicative and sent lots of pictures and videos, which helped, too! I highly recommend folks trust Aye with their precious companions!
Aye is the best! Our cats love her and she really goes above and beyond watching them, doing so much she doesn't have to. When we're out of town, we know we're going to bring her out to watch our little babies, and you should too!
Aye took great care of our two young, shy cats! She leaves thorough reports and takes great pictures to keep your mind at ease.

Presently live in an apartment, I am not able to host peoples pets in my home. 🐕However I am an active individual who will walk your dog in any safe temperature. During days where it is too hot or too cold to safely walk a dog for extended times, I compensate with indoor play to help with their energy. 🐈For cats, I understand their needs to play and cuddle. I also understand their needs for space and desire to just observe or hide. I'm happy to complete all needed tasks in your home while they warm up to me, and love them in their preferred manner 😊
Information Aye R. would like to know about your pet
I require pet parents to leave out their vet info, carriers, any emergency contact information, and list of allergens. I also require that pet parents contact their vet and emergency vet before their vacation to let them know that I am the pets temporary care taker, in case of emergency. Every vet is different in how they process this information. This keeps your pet safe and gets them speedy treatment in an emergency situation. Please let me know if they have preferred interactions or if a specific type of touch, noise, or other animal sightings on walks makes them upset. I want your cats and dogs to succeed, and need all their safety information to provide that.
A typical day
Make sure you tell me your pets favorite ways to play! I'm happy to let dogs sniff for as long as they need, and go on walks until they are tired out. I tend to let your pet lead the visit. It can take time for a pet to warm up to a new person, and they may not feel immediately comfortable with a stranger walking them. By taking some time to warm up to each other, I can ensure a better long run experience for us. I also can ensure all sort of enrichment by hiding treats around their favorite spots, filling up their treat puzzles, and playing with favorite toys!

Availability
With all booking, please keep in mind that times of arrival are estimated with in 2 hours. Example: if you for a visit at 12noon, I may arrive between 11am-1pm to begin the visit. This flexibility allows me to take other visits that maybe close to yours, line up visits for gas efficiency, as well as adjust for weather related issues (sometimes a dog doesn't want to walk in the rain 🤷🏻)
