Hi! My name is Oliver, but you can also call me Ollie. I used to go by my middle name (Ayden), so you’ll also see that used in reviews. I live in The Carson North apartments in Slabtown, so I’m intimately familiar with Prometheus properties in the area. I also watch many pets in Block17, Burlington Towers, and many other nearby apartment buildings in Northwest, Slabtown, and the Pearl. I am a lover of all creatures big and small, and have cared for dogs, cats, reptiles, amphibians, fish, and plants for my entire life. I am flexible, loving, caring, detail-oriented, honest and sincere. My partner and I live in the Slabtown area with our six-year-old dog named Quincy. Our house is really her house, which you can see the second you walk into our apartment. Throughout my life I have owned and cared for six dogs, nine cats, a dozen reptiles, hundreds of freshwater fish, and an undisclosed number of plants (tropical and succulents). That doesn't include animals I've lived with or cared for via roommates, family, friends, and of course, all of my Rover pals. I don’t drive, so I need to stick close to the Northwest area to travel on foot. If you’re a bit outside of my radius and open to ride share reimbursement, please reach out and we can chat!

If we have an overnight guest from Rover in our home, know that we take every precaution to ensure their safety. We live in a ground-level loft, but we have our own patio (with dog gate) and a security camera for peace of mind. There is almost always someone home, and we can guarantee that if your dog is anxious or is not crated. In a client's home, I am respectful of your belongings and will most likely be walking your pets, cuddling with them while watching a movie, or maybe napping together. I am quiet, responsible, and tidy. Nothing to worry about here!

It’s helpful to know if your pup is anxious, reactive to other dogs or people, or displays resource guarding tendencies (multi-dog homes). I’m happy to work with all dogs I can responsibly control and care for. The more I know up front, the better off your pup will be. I work with many reactive dogs, including street surrenders and rescues, so I’m patient, kind, and err on the side of caution to keep everyone safe and happy.
A typical day
We will go on walks around the neighborhood, play with toys, cuddle on the couch, sprawl out in the sun on the gated patio, practice commands, earn treats, and generally have a grand time. I have a pet spa in my building, so I can offer baths and brushing for an additional fee.

Availability
I left the tech industry in 2023 to focus on my health and wellbeing. I am currently enrolled in an online graduate program in Public Health, so I’m home 85% of the time. I am an early riser, though my partner and dog like to sleep in way past the time I get up. I don’t drive, so most activities outside of the house are within 1-2 miles of my place, allowing me to be available for your pet(s). I am flexible since most of my work can be done form a laptop. One thing to note is that I don't drive, so my service radius is tight. I am open to using a rideshare outside of that radius for longer in-house boarding stays.
