There’s just nothing like the companionship a dog offers. They’re always there for us and never cease to make us happy! And while we love to be near them, it’s so tough to be away from them. That’s why I’m here: to make the time apart as easy as possible! As a dog owner myself, I know how stressful it can be to be away from your best friend, but it’s my duty to make sure that your pup has all the love and happiness they need to thrive while you’re away. Between my pup Hippo and myself, your pup will be completely spoiled with love and attention! One of the best things about me as a sitter is that I am home for the majority of the day, meaning that I’ll be able to have plenty of face-to-face time with your pup. No one likes to keep their pooch in a crate or kennel while they’re away, so I’ll make sure they have all the freedom they need! It means that I’m a great fit for pups that are used to having a human presence around them--or for pups that could benefit from that! When taking on a new client, I typically like to schedule a meet-and-greet. It’s a great way to make sure that we’re all a good fit for one another, which is so important to me. Likewise, it gives us the opportunity to chat face-to-face about your pup and your care expectations. No one knows your dog better than you do, so it’s always great to chat with owners in person about what makes their pup tick! Finally, I just love meeting new dogs! I like to get down on their level to show them that I’m a welcome presence here to make friends, and I’m sure we’ll be best buddies in no time at all. My main reason for being a sitter is to work on training with my dog, Hippo! I want to make sure he has lots of friends and interacts with lots of pups, but it also means that I’m always happy to work on commands and other training with your pup. If you have a dog that’s going through a training regimen that you’d like to maintain, I’m the perfect fit for you! It is my goal to one day be employed as a dog trainer for the police or military, but I’m just all too happy to work with great pups locally in the meantime.
