Our families connected immediately. Since then, I have had the pleasure to see Miss Ayanna grow as an individual. On several occasions, I have employed Ayanna to take care of my plants and dogs while vacationing. She has always expressed an interest in animals and their care. And as with many emergent teenagers, she wanted to earn money. I initially requested of Ayanna the responsibility of providing weekend care of my dogs. Eventually, her services progressed to extended care (more than a week). She does an excellent job caring for the dogs; she followed my instructions for their care. Because of her show of being responsible, we entrusted her with the alarm code to our home, due to her need to have access because of her daily visits with my dogs. When leaving out town for vacations of 3-day weekends, we never worried. Whenever she visited our home, it was obvious the family dogs liked her; wagging their tails because they were happy to see her. She truly cares for animals and they show it. Ayanna worked with our Veterinarian clinic for a little over two years. She was always a very hard worker, who had compassion for all of the fur babies staying with us. She always alerted us if there was ever any medical concern, whether it was an upset stomach, or just nervousness. She is greatly missed not only as an employee, but as the caregiver of the boarders.
