Pet care experience
I fell in love with taking care of small animals since I was a toddler. But started pet sitting since 1993! I have 30 years of compassionate experience in caring for pets… I am a cat mommy and we love to make her cat food from scratch. We also make homemade dog food from scratch as well. We feed our animals the very best, organic high quality food according to their breed. We use natural remedies to help pets feel safe, less anxious and loved. Our baby kitty was rescued from an abusive home and was so afraid everything when we first found her. Now with just a little love, care and a minor switch in her diet she is one happy healthy kitty. We also specialize in indoor potty training for cats (and small dogs) to use the toilet, potty (for cats) or potty pads (for small dogs) Inside my home all animals are made at home to feel safe, comfortable and loved. I make sure that they are loved, provided for, fed, and have ample time to play inside and outside at various parks, nature trails and gardens.

Ayanna was awesome! She showed up on time, took care of my cats better than I probably do, and was very respectful of my house. She will definitely be my Rover go-to for all my cat sitting needs.
What can I say about Ms. Ayanna's services? Her and her pet friendly family are attentive and VERY responsible! I had the pleasure of utilizing their services recently and they cared for my pets in a timely manner, while showering them with the love they needed in our absence. The thing that really stood out to me... They left my house better then I left it! When I came home my house was super tidy and cats happy! Thank you for your AMAZING SERVICES! I would definitely recommend!

All animals have their special and specific way of communicating and I care for the pets by being observant of the needs that they are communicating. My actions show that I care which in turn makes them as comfortable as possible so we can play together, and enjoy our time with each other. *New clients * - For your pets comfort I am only available to pet sit if we do a meet and greet ahead of time. Preferably a week in advance (for free) or at least a 3 days advance notice (w/ a fee). Any modification to day(s) and time can be discussed. All last minute scheduling (3 days or less) will be charged a $25 fee. All same/next day( ie within 24hrs of booking) will be charged double - (a one time $50 fee) All payments are made and adjusted through the rover app only. What we like to suggest is to schedule a meet and greet with us if you like our profile and are considering our services. That way when something last minute does come up we are already familiar with you and your pet. ~ Thank you

If considering boarding services-Please let me know how long your pet can be home without supervision. This way we can plan accordingly in advance.
A typical day
Pets are so much fun to play with! Our time together includes games that stimulate their minds and body while enriching them emotionally. Pets have their story too and sometimes just want to be heard and understood. I truly enjoy talking to animals, and spending our time together in nature or outdoors. We have a special nature trail close by, where we like to go on walks. And two nice sized enclosed courtyards in my building for pets to play!! Now that the weather is nice- If you are willing to meet me at the various different local parks, your pup and I can spend our day together there. We have a few favorites- including the Wharf Dc and the Swampoodle Dog Park :-) One dog park (thats a short doggie walk away from my home) is a picturesque open field! We also love doing doggie dates with different dog owners in our neighborhood so your pup has someone to play with. It’s a pet friendly building and the children love animals here.
