Pet care experience
Hi neighbors! I’m a recent college graduate looking to walk & care for your pups. I’ve had dogs since I was 8 and currently have 2 big dogs at home (not living with me). I fostered dogs of all shapes, sizes, behavior types, and medical needs over quarantine, so am experienced with training for puppies and bigger dogs. I also shared care of my previous roommate’s dog in college, so I’m experienced with balancing schedules to make sure her dog was walked, played with, and cuddled appropriately. I have dog walked and cat sitted since high school and dog walked and housesat throughout college for several different dogs in neighboring towns. I love animals & want to provide yours with the best care possible. I’m open to dog walking and house sitting for both cats and dogs, and would love to meet you and your furry family members!

Watched my dog for a week and did a great job!
Avni is a caring and responsible pet caregiver. She fed and walked my dog for several years (when I wasn’t working from home!) and was reliable and super affectionate with my dog, who adored her. She walked him in the neighborhood but also took him to parks where he could go off leash as she knew what a high energy (mixed) breed he was, especially when he was younger. I would highly recommend Avni as a pet caretaker and walker.

A typical day
I’m exploring the surrounding areas, so happy to take your dog on hikes, to parks, to the beach, or just on neighborhood walks! I know how important exercise is for bigger breeds and want your dog to get all the exercise they need. I also love to play with dogs outside and inside the house.

Availability
I’m working full-time, so generally free after 5:30 PM on weekdays and all day on weekends (with advance notice). I love walking around the lake and going to parks, and would love to bring your dog along.
