STAY AWAY. We do not recommend Avneet and suggest that she no longer provides services for Rover. She was dishonest about watching our senior dog and put his health at risk as well as the safety of our home. We hired her for housesitting and we have outdoor ring camera evidence (which we told her about before her stay) that she left our senior dog alone for over 24 hours. We came home to poop and pee in the home (he hasn’t done that in years) as well as a dog bowl overly filled with food (he is food driven so I can only imagine how much food she filled his bowl with before leaving him alone for over 24 hours). Our senior dog requires daily medication, which we assume she did not give him. Our front door and back door was also unlocked, and she told us she propped the back door open before leaving the house. We had explicitly given her instructions to keep the back door closed and check that it is locked before leaving the house because our dog has a tendency to get himself stuck outside. There are more grievances but these are the major ones. We gave this feedback to her directly to give her the benefit of the doubt, and she has stopped responding. We worry for the safety of other pets that she is providing her services to.

Avneet stayed at my home with my dog for 5 nights. Charlie was happy and warmed up to her, even snuggling on the couch within hours. It’s a relief to have someone I can book now with consistency!
