I've grown up with dogs and have two rescue pits of my own. I've spent extended time around dogs of all sizes, from chihuahua and maltepoo to English mastiff and Great Dane. Im vegan and I love animals more than anything. I will love your dog and care for them as if they were my own! My partner and I have a love for dogs and hope to continue to rescue more dogs in the future, so spending time with dogs other than my own is really important to me. My availability is dependent on my hours at my primary job but I hope to eventually make dog-sitting a full time job. Spending my whole day with dogs would be a dream job to me!

I know Avery is a great dog momma to her pups, which leaves me incredibly comfortable leaving my pup with her. She treated my pup as one of her own, and communicated updates with me about her visit to my house. She's someone I'll continue to reach out to if my pup needs a sitter!
Avery is awesome, highly communicative, flexible and trustworthy. She was very good with my special needs pup and I appreciate her so much! She's the first pet sitter I've hired and I'm so glad it worked out well. She has larger dogs so she understands the some of the concerns and stigma associated with larger dogs or particular breeds.
Avery is great with my pups and they were so excited to see her.
I just want to say that Avery has love and compassion not just for dogs, but all animals. She feels that pets are part of the family and treats them like that as well. I’ve only lived in Portland since November of 2016 so I'd love to explore neighborhoods and parks. I'd also be willing to go on short or easy hikes with dogs who are experienced in hiking or enjoy it.
